Wilderness Survival Courses

Trail Blazer Survival School’s multi-day wilderness survival courses provide the survival skill you need to survive in the wild.  We focus on primitive skills taught with a combination of demonstration and hands-on, by a professional wilderness survival instructor(s). The survival courses will introduce and give you practice with the survival skills to allow you to thrive in the wilderness.

The Essential Wilderness Survival course is two days and one night that our survival school provides over a weekend. This will get you started on your journey into wilderness survival.  Our Applied Wilderness Survival course four days and 3-night course take off where the Essential course leaves off.   You can additionally supplement your training with a NOLS Wilderness First Aid two-day course, and the plant identification walk that is offered every year.
