Trail Blazer Survival School

Minecraft Camp

Description:

This camp brings Minecraft to the real world. Campers will craft real items, build real shelters, and cook real food at Minecraft summer day camp.  Campers will play games and be given challenges relating to the world of Minecraft while also learning valuable skills for survival and camping.  Campers will actually emulate scenarios familiar to the game by harvesting clay from a stream, make a fire from flint and steel, and bake their clay into a pot to use in their shelter.  One of the days the campers will visit Hooker Falls for swimming and activities relating to Minecraft's "Update Aquatic".

Pick up/Drop off:
Pick up and drop off will take place each day at Park Place Children's Center located at 205 Batesville Rd. Simpsonville, SC 29681. Drop off will take place between 7:30 - 8:00am each morning and pick up will take place between 3:00 - 3:30pm each afternoon. Both pickup and drop off will take place in the lunchroom at Park Place. When entering the Park Place parking lot take a left and continue around to the back left side of the building (if you see the dumpster and Trail Blazer bus you are on the correct side!). A Trail Blazer instructor will be stationed at the door to the lunchroom to sign in each camper. Upon completing registration parents will be emailed a "what to bring" document that details the items campers will need for each particular camp. These items may include a change of clothes, bag lunch, bug spray etc. All other equipment needed for camp activities will be provided by Trail Blazer.
