Take exciting adventures to swimming holes across the Upstate. Trail Blazer's guides will take campers to secret streams, waterfalls, and pools for a day of aquatic fun. Each day will include exploration of some of the Upstate's most beautiful sites and trails followed by cooling off in the best waterholes we have adventured to over the last several summers. This camp is perfect for those that like to be surrounded by nature. Some of the highlights of this camp include Chau Ram Park. At Chau Ram, campers will hike beautiful trails and cross the longest suspension bridge in the county before breaking for lunch at one of the covered shelters. After lunch campers will visit the spectacular Ramsey Creek Falls where they can swim and play in the shallow pool at its base. Another favorite swimming hole of previous summers has been Hooker Falls(seen in "Last of the Mohicans"). Before swimming at Hooker Falls campers will take a short graveled hike to see the massive Triple Falls (seen in "The Hunger Games"). We will also visit two local favorites of Wildcat Wayside Falls off Highway 11 and Carrick Creek Falls at Table Rock State Park. Upon checking in at the ranger station at Table Rock State Park campers get to visit the reptile exhibit and see many examples and taxidermy of the local wildlife. We will not be doing any strenuous hiking so no special boots or clothing is needed. Campers need only to bring a bathing suit, towel, and lunch. Campers are also welcome to bring games, books, or electronics to play on the bus. Campers can wear their bathing suit to camp in the morning or change in the restrooms at the park.
Pick up/Drop off:
Pick up and drop off will take place each day at Park Place Children's Center located at 205 Batesville Rd. Simpsonville, SC 29681.
